R.I. Gen. Laws § 8-8-1. District Court established — Chief and associate justices.

There is established a district court for the state of Rhode Island which shall consist of a chief judge and fourteen (14) associate judges. The district court shall be a court of record and shall have a seal with such words and devices as it shall adopt.
